I like the Amtrak Acela's, they look like a cross between a TGV and the German ICE1 trains.?

That's the maximum speed allowed through there. The highest speed permitted on? the New Haven Line is 90mph through Mamaroneck, NY. I live in Southport just a few stations east of East Norwalk so I'm the expert (or at least one of them) of the NH Line. Same for the NEC its self.

Seems like they had some sort of work going on or something because most of the trains I saw where going slow. Normally? they go by pretty fast.
